SOFTOOL-2008 exhibition works from September 30 till October 3 2008 at the pavilion #8 of the central exhibition complex "Expocentre" at Krasnaya Presnya.

SOFTOOL, acting as one of the most respectable forum of specifically Russian high technologies, became an event of national importance. It’s not a simple exhibition but an event influencing the development of the whole industry which has the primary meaning for Russian economy.

Institute of the Information Society in the year of its 10^th anniversary takes active part in the exhibition by showing its lay-outs, projects and latest publications. IIS stand under number D34 is situated in the hall #2 of the pavilion #8.

Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of IIS Board of Directors, took part in the work of the conference “Free software to the benefit of information society”, which took place on September 30 in a small hall of the pavilion #8. He made a report on "Standard Solutions for Regions in E-Russia" (in Russian).
