On March 5-6, 2018 at the premises of the West-Siberian Innovation
Center (Tyumen Technopark) the Open Innovations Startup Tour was held. IIS Chairman
of the Board of Directors Dr. Yuri Hohlov took part in an open discussion on
the development of the digital economy in the Tyumen Region.
On February 26, 2018, at the roundtable "Digital
Economy: Society, Business, State" held within the framework of the 2nd
Ulyanovsk Economic Forum, representatives of universities, public authorities
and businesses of the Ulyanovsk region discussed the interaction of various
society institutions and private companies in the development of the digital
economy. Dr. Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute
of the Information Society, took part in the forum.
On February
15, 2018 the 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern
economy: concepts and models of innovative development” was opened at the
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Dr. Yuri Hohlov,
Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors acted as a moderator of the Plenary
Session “Digital Economy Challenges: Russia against the Global Trends”.
The conference organizers set a task to gather representatives of all
major stakeholders at a single table and discuss the possibilities of
implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in strategic documents of
cities and towns, the prospects of forming a system of indicators for SDG
monitoring and their application in Russian educational programs. Dr. Yuri
Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, took an active part in the
conference.
The subject of the Agreement is joint activities of the
National Center of Excellence in the field of Digital Economy of Lomonosov
Moscow State University (NCEDE LMSU) and IIS in implementation of research and
development, educational, methodological and publishing projects on a wide
range of digital economy development problems.
Main topics of the joint issue were: scientific community as a factor of
the information society development, realities and prospects for crypto-currency
use, digital technologies of China, communicative roles in cyberspace and
socialization of the individual, information overload in action, artificial
intelligence in medicine and healthcare, problem of trust in television.
