Institute of the Information Society and System Engineering Standardization and Management Support Fund (FOSTAS) with support of HP, IBM and Sun Microsystems is organizing seminar on application of modern architectural approach to creation and development of large-scale information systems.

The seminar aimed at consolidating perception of the methodology of comprehensive architectural approach to planning, implementing and developing modern automated systems, computerized organizations, enterprises and their associations. It also aimed at evaluating the areas demanding joint actions.

The seminar followed several objectives:

• Communicate crucial and relevant points of modern architectural approach to enterprise integration, to systems construction and development;
• Represent ideas, proposals and other results of a number of projects in the sphere of architecture methodology and its application in particular systems implemented in Russia and abroad;
• Discuss the state of affairs in the sphere of application of architectural approach in Russia, and outline relevant dimensions demanding further elaboration.

The seminar took place on 25 April 2005 in the Cosmos hotel, Galaxy-2 hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
