Workshop “Digital Platforms for research” was organized and held by the
Agency for Strategic Initiatives and National Center of Excellence in the field
of Digital Economy of Lomonosov Moscow State University (LMSU) in cooperation
with Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “Digital Economy” and faculty of
Economics of LMSU on October 27, 2017.
The goal of the workshop was to build a consensus on the issues of
development of the digital platforms for research in the Russian Federation
based on international and national experience and best practices, as well as to
analyze existing problems and needs of the R&D institutions, teams,
individual scientists and researchers and also leading companies in the field
of digital economy.
Workshop was moderated by:
- Tatiana Ershova, Director of the National Center of
Excellence in the field of Digital Economy of Lomonosov Moscow State University,
Chief Editor of Scientific and Analytical Journal “Information Society”;
- Sergey Nakvasin, Project Manager of National
Technological Initiative “Agency for Strategic Initiatives”.
The following speakers delivered the reports:
Dr. Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the Board of Director
of the Institute of the Information Society, academician of the Russian
Engineering Academy;
Arutyn Avetisyan, member correspondent of the
Russian Academy of Science (RAS), Director of Ivannikov Institute for
System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISP RAS);
Sergey Dobridnyuk, Director for Research and Innovation, “Diasoft” Group;
Alexey Semenov, Academician of RAS and Russian
Academy of Education (RAE), Director of the Institute of the Educational
Informatics.
Further a free discussion took place, in which leading experts representing state authorities (Federal Agency for
Scientific Organizations) and state corporations (Rostec, Rosatom and
Rostelecom), institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Federal Research Center
“Informatics and Management” and ISP RAS), educational institutions (LMSU, Skoltech, Russian
Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAACS)) and private
companies (IBM, Diasoft) experienced in creating and/or using digital
platforms.
As a result of the seminar, an introductory report was
prepared for the strategic session “Future of Research and Development on Cross-Cutting
Technologies of the STI and Digital Economy (Future of Science 20.35)" at
the BarCamp “National Technological Revolution 20.35", which took place on
November 7-8, 2017 in Saint-Petersburg. |
