The subject of the Agreement is joint activities of the
National Center of Excellence in the field of Digital Economy of Lomonosov
Moscow State University (NCEDE LMSU) and IIS in implementation of research and
development, educational, methodological and publishing projects on a wide

The subject of the Agreement is joint activities of the
National Center of Excellence in the field of Digital Economy of Lomonosov
Moscow State University (NCEDE LMSU) and IIS in implementation of research and
development, educational, methodological and publishing projects on a wide
range of digital economy development problems.
The following areas are defined as the main areas of joint activities:
- Conduction of scientific researches and implementation
of projects, including establishment of temporary creative teams;
- Implementation of project and programs in the field
of digital economy, including the monitoring of the digital economy
development;
- Elaboration of training courses and curricula for
various aspects if the digital economy development to be used for training
specialists also through the educational digital platforms;
- Development of scientific and methodological
support of the projects in the field of digital economy of various scale;
- Conduction of joint events such as seminars, conferences,
roundtables, etc.;
- Publication of results of the joint activities
and other materials in the field of digital economy, etc.
Throughout of its existence the Institute gained a
reputation of the “first instance expert” in what refer to conceptual,
scientific and applied issues of the information society development. Its
representatives are constantly members of various high-level expert
associations established by federal and regional authorities in Russia, as well
as by international and foreign organizations. This allows IIS to keep abreast
of the latest trends and best solutions in the field of creating and using
information and communication technologies, including digital ones.
IIS has organized more than hundred events at different levels (from
workshops to international congresses) on a number of aspects of ICT use for
social and economic development, in which the representatives of leading state
authorities, business entities, civil society organizations, as well as
scientific and educational community from Russia and many foreign countries.
Since 1999 the Institute in cooperation with Russian Engineering Academy has
been publishing the authoritative
scientific and analytical journal “Information Society”, which is included in the list of the Highest Attestation Commission of
the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
