Journal "Information Society" is included into the Russian Science Citation Index |
Russian Science Citation Index is a joint project of the companies Thomson
Reuters and Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU, supported by Higher
School of Economics and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The aim of the project
is to place the 1000 best Russian journals from Russian Index of Science Citation
(RISC) on platform Web of Science as a separate database of the Russian Science
Citation Index.
At present, there are four national databases on placed on Web of Science
platform:
- Chinese Science Citation Database (1200 journals)
- SciELO Citation Index (650 journals)
- Corea Citation Index
- Russian Science Citation Index (1000 journals).
The main features of the Journal "Information
Society" are the scientific character of the articles, a multidisciplinary
profile of the journal, the broad composition of the Editorial Board, a high
impact factor.
