This
year the Day of NCOs was held at the educational center «Specialist» at the
Moscow State Technical University n.a. N.E. Bauman. On behalf of IIS the event
was attended by Irina Miroshnichenko, Manager of “infoDonor” program of technological
support to non-commercial organizations, Louisa Rizmanova, Head of Department
of International Cooperation and Public Relations, projects’ manager Vladimir
Gorbunov and manager Olga Afonina.
In
the course of the plenary session Yulia Sarviro, social projects manager of Microsoft
in Russia, presented a number of projects implemented within the framework of
the youth educational initiative YouthSpark: «Your course: IT for Youth»,
Microsoft Virtual Academy, course «Basics of computer literacy», competitions
on programming and projects for students and pupils («Imagine Cup», Codu Game
Lab, Dream Spark) and others, as well as programs of support to non-commercial
sector - Cyber Grants, unilateral software license, Office 365 and NCO
information support.
YouthSpark –
is a global initiative of Microsoft company, which aims at helping young
people to unlock their potential in three key directions: education, employment
and entrepreneurship. Within the framework of this program it is planned
to train about 300 million young people in the world and 23 million in
Russia.
Within the framework of presentation on IT use for increase of efficiency
of non-commercial organizations, Yulia Sarviro, social projects manager of
Microsoft in Russia, and Irina
Miroshnichenko, manager of “infoDonor” program of technological support to
non-commercial organizations, provided information on “infoDonor” program,
which allows NCOs to gain quick access to software donations of leading world
donors - Microsoft and iSpring
Solutions.
Then
Microsoft specialists Alexey Fedorov and Elena Loktionova reported on demo
versions of the OS Windows 10, MS Office 2016 and Skype for Business.
Further
participants of the Day of NCOs took part in workshops «Efficient methods of
individual and collective work in Office 2013 and Office 365» (Word, Excel,
Outlook) and «CRM-strategy for efficient management of relations in NCO»,
conducted by Microsoft specialists. |
