Strategy for Information Society Development in Russia
Representative of the Institute of the Information Society participated in the International Forum “Volunteer of Russia”, which took place in Perm

Participants of the Forum On November 27 the exhibition center “Perm Fair” hosted the opening ceremony of the VI session of International Conference “Voluntary Work – technology of social changes”.

Irina Miroshnichenko, Manager of the “infoDonor” program of technological support to non-commercial organizationsThe Forum gathered representatives of 64 Russian regions and 12 foreign countries. This year the expert community comprised guests from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and many others.

The central event of the Forum was the plenary meeting “Voluntary Work – technology of social changes”. During the plenary meeting such issues were raised as measuring the work of volunteers, development of inclusive voluntary work, programs of volunteers’ motivation, availability of online voluntary work, social entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, etc.

Within the framework of the event an exhibition of social innovations was also held. Within the framework of the exhibition participants became acquainted with 40 projects from 35 Russian regions, with main trends and programs of development of voluntary work abroad. Also an interactive program was organized for guests of the exhibition.

Irina Miroshnichenko, Manager of the “infoDonor” program of technological support to NCOs, participated in the workshop “Interoperability of business companies and NCOs”, where she delivered a presentation and reported on the program and its potentialities for non-commercial organizations.
