This year, as part of the
Forum, several events on topical issues of socio-economic development of Russian
regions were organized.
The most important theme was the construction of a strategic
management planning system of the region. Theme urgency was dictated by the Federal
Law “On the strategic planning in the Russian Federation” adopted in June 2014.
This was outlined by the Deputy Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, Alexander
Krasnov at the opening of the Forum.
The following topics were discussed at the forum:
- Scientific and educational cluster of the region: possibilities and
limitations
- Regional informatisation: actual issues and directions of development
Within
each theme, conferences, round tables, workshops, seminars and debates show
were held.
Rector
of Yaroslavl State University by name of Pavel Demidov, co-founder and member
of Supervisory Board of the Institute of the Information Society (IIS),
Alexander Rusakov acted as a moderator of the Plenary Session.
Director General of IIS, Dr. Tatiana Ershova,
actively participated in the work of the Conference 3 “ Regional
informatisation: actual issues and directions of development”. At the Plenary Session
of the Conference she presented the report "Media literacy and information literacy of the citizens: Global context
and challenges in Russia" (in Russian) prepared
in co-authorship with Head of Direction of the prospective projects of IIS
Alexander Evtyushkin.
At the Plenary Session of the Conference also the following
experts spoke:
- Dmitry Satin, Adviser to the Minister of Telecom and
Mass Communications of the Russian Federation presented the report
“Results of e-government development in 2014 and future plans”
- Vladimir Tikhomirov, President of the International
Consortium “Electronic University”, Chairman of the Advisory Board on
e-Learning and Information technology in Education at the State Duma
Committee on Education, reported on “New directions of investments in
e-learning for enhancing the competitiveness of the region”.
