 On September 19-20, 2014 at
Sports Arena of Veliky Novgorod the Creative Workshop "Social Entrepreneurship
in the Network" took place. Manager of the "infoDonor" program Mrs. Irina Miroshnichenko
participated in the Day 1 of the Workshop and presented the Program and its
opportunities to the NGOs.
Social entrepreneurship is a
kind of business that combines entrepreneurial activity, the solution of social
problems in their city or region, and care for the environment
 Workshop began with a
welcome speech by Nina Kostenko (Program Director of the Novgorod Regional
Public Fund of Assistance to Non-Commercial Projects) and Alexey Sidorenko (Head
of the "Greenhouse of Social Technologies"). Then there was a presentation by
the representative of the “Impact Hub Moscow” company Mrs. Catherine Khaletskaya,
who gave a lecture on "Social Entrepreneurship: a buzzword or a tool to change
the world?"
Second part of the Workshop
was devoted to the presentations of existing social entrepreneurial projects.
