On behalf of IIS the Day of NCOs
was attended by Irina Miroshnichenko, manager of the technological support to
non-commercial organizations program «infoDonor», Louisa Rizmanova, Director of
Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations, and Olga Kopyeva,
content-manager.
At the plenary session Olga Golovanova, head of Microsoft programs of corporate responsibility in
Russia, presented
the program Microsoft Citizenship, which in its frameworks illustrates Microsoft projects on cooperation with the
educational system, projects for youth (e.g. initiative YouthSpark) and programs
of support to non-commercial sector.
YouthSpark – is a new global initiative of the Microsoft company, which aims at assisting young people in implementation of their potentials
in three key directions: education, employment and entrepreneurship.
Further Yulia Sarviro, social projects manager of Microsoft in Russia, made a presentation on “ICT use for increasing efficiency of non-commercial organizations”, where «infoDonor»
program was also introduced. Program of support to non-commercial organizations
«infoDonor» allows NCOs to receive access to software donation programs of
known world donors - Microsoft and iSpring Solutions. After the presentation Petr
Sofroshkin from the Center of Youth Initiatives Support shared with the
audience experience of participation in the «infoDonor» program.
Then one of heads of IT Company Tamara Lysikova made a presentation on social work carried out by the
Academy.
In the afternoon Microsoft Corp specialists conducted master-classes, where they reported on useful potentials of the new operating system Windows 8.1, and showed how non-commercial organizations can use these
resources in their work; shared information on efficient methods of individual
and collective work in Office 365 (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Besides, representative of Wunderman company Igor Denisov, within the framework of
section “Social networks. What? Where? What for?”, shared with NCO representatives information on
peculiarities of work in different social networks, and on possibilities
offered by social networks, which are being implemented by non-commercial
organizations. |
