On the first day the welcoming speech was delivered by Rustem Khamitov, President of the Republic of Bashkortostan, who noted high role of participating non-commercial organizations in charity projects and assistance to different population segments: orphans, disabled and aged people.

NCO representatives worked in the following sections:

• Public councils as a resource: benefit, role, opportunities.
• Mechanisms of state support to NCOs. Practice of grants competitions.
• Information instruments of civic initiatives.
• Social entrepreneurship – driver of social sphere development.
• «Dignified childhood» - support of family, prevention of social orphanhood.
• Public initiatives in the sphere of education, science, culture. NCO’s contribution to harmonization of international relations, patriotic education, spiritual development of individuals.
• NCO’s contribution to the health of the nation. Children and youth organizations.
• «WORLD WITHOUT LIMITS» - social adaptation of the disabled people and their families, improving quality of life of the aged people.

On the second day seminars, round tables and distributions of awards among people of “silver age” and young volunteers from different Bashkir universities, who took part in the Universiade 2013 and the Olympic Games in Sochi, took place. The following particular events took place:

• Seminar «Peculiarities of Finances and Business Operations of NCOs; NCO’s participation in state and municipal procurement; NCO’s accounting and taxation”;
• Forum-competition of social projects for senior high school pupils and students;
• All-Russia Festival of People’s “Third Age” Universities
• Round table: People’s Third Age Universities – education for aged people
• Round table: CREATIVE WORK of “SILVER AGE” PEOPLE
• Round table: HEALTH and LONGEVITY
• Festival of volunteer brigades “Good will”.

The Forum was organized by the Public Fund of Ufa city Development and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The Forum was participated by more than 300 non-commercial charity organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Institute of the Information Society Development was represented by Irina Miroshnichenko, manager of “infoDonor” program.

For participation in an exposition within the framework of the First Republican Forum of socially oriented non-commercial organizations «Bashkortostan – Territory of Accord and Development» the Institute of the Information Society Development was awarded with a Diploma.
