IIS General Director Took Part in the Third Physical Meeting within the Open Consultation Process in Preparation of the WSIS+10 High-Level Event (Geneva, 17-18 February 2014) |

 The Third Physical Meeting within the Open Consultation Process in Preparation of the WSIS+10 High-Level Event was opened by Dr. Hamadoun Touré, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union. He indicated preliminary place and time of the World High-Level Meeting on the Information Society: Geneva, 10-14 June 2014.
The Meeting lasted two days. The agenda items of the first day, 17 February, were presentation and updates on the Preparatory Process:
The main focus of the second working day, 18 February, was Multi-stakeholder Drafting Process of Chapter C (Action lines) of the proposed 1st Draft WSIS+10 Vision for WSIS Beyond 2015.
The delegation of the Russian Federation has made quite a number of amendments to the formulations of all Action Lines. The delegation was represented by:

- Dmitry Babekin, Deputy Head of Department on Legal Expertise, Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of RF
- Tatiana Ershova, General Director, Institute of the Information Society
