IIS representatives took part in orientational seminar of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education devoted to promotion of open educational resources and mass online trainings in CIS |
On November 11, 2013 UNESCO
Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE) hosted an
orientational seminar on promotion of open educational resources and mass
online trainings in CIS. The seminar was attended by representative of lead
higher educational institutions, companies and educational centers of CIS and
the Russian Federation. IIS was represented by Alexander Evtyushkin, Head of
Directorate of Perspective Projects, and Louiza Rizmanova, Head of Department of International
Cooperation and Public Relations.
Within the framework of the seminar
the reports were presented by Svetlana Knyazeva, Head of “Digital pedagogy and
open educational resources” department of UNESCO IITE on the results of the
project “Open educational resources (OER) in non-English-speaking countries”
(2009 – 2013.)», and by Marina Tsvetkova, Specialist of UNESCO IITE «On
perspectives of OER CIS collection
creation on IITE portal».
A report on
«Intellectual property rights and perspectives of Creative Commons licenses’
use for open educational content» was delivered by an expert of the Institute
of the Information Society Alexander Evtyushkin.
In the course of the seminar a round table took
place devoted to «Cooperation between
Russian higher educational institutions and organizations in CIS within the
framework of IITE project on promotion of open educational resources and mass online
trainings in CIS». During the round table participants and representatives of
higher educational institutions exchanged opinions on the project and
mechanisms of its implementation, issues related to quality assurance and legal
aspects. |
