The second in 2012 Issue of the "Information Society" journal was published

The issue is opened by an exclusive interview with Askar Zhumagaliyev, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his interview he shares secrets of dynamic development of information society in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This issue concludes the publication of Russian translation of an article by professor of Rutgers University James Katz on communications in social networks and citizen journalism, the first part of which generated great interest in our readers.

An article by Natalia Tikhomirova, Rector of the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, and Svetlana Kocherga, Pro-rector, is devoted to problems and “trends” of contemporary business-education in Russia.

The article by Lyudmila Baeva, PhD from Astrakhan, who became our permanent author, brings up complicated issues of contemporary anthropogenesis, which thrill specialists from different spheres of science.

Ekaterina Petrova, candidate of philosophical sciences of the Institute of Philosophy RAS, analyzes issues of competence of a man from information society, speculates on new educational paradigm, where student transforms from object of pedagogical influence to subject of cognitive and creative activity.

Sergey Baranov from the Institute of Economic Affairs of Kolskiy RAS examines in his article problems of accessibility of high technologies and contemporary policy in the sphere of informatization of Russian social and economic environment.

A rare topic of distributed computing for solving complicated tasks of contemporary practice is mentioned in works of scientists from S.-Petersburg – PhDs Alexander Bogdanov,  Alexander Degtyarev, Yury Nechaev and candidate of sciences Vladimir Mareev.
