Strategy for Information Society Development in Russia
The sixth Issue of the "Information Society" journal was published

The last issue of the journal starts with an exclusive interview with Lawrence Lessig  - fighter for changing the legislation in the sphere of copyright, founder of “Creative Commons” non-commercial organization providing free of charge licensing system in the Internet.  

Tatiana Ershova and Sergey Shaposhnik, IIS representatives, describe one of the most reliable instruments of monitoring of information society development – population and households survey.
Evgeniy Loginov stands for ICT use in such a little known to the general public sphere as control activities in state and corporate governance. Maxim Kanevskiy reports on potentials of virtual interaction between public authorities and citizens and business on the basis of pooled experiences and knowledge sharing techniques.   

Alexandr Evtyushkin brings to the front weak points in the existing architecture of electronic state services provision in Russia.
Lev Shchur, Anton Meshshutin and Svetlana Shikota discuss the model of infocommunication maintenance of research teams’ work in contemporary scientific and research or educational centre in the context of globalization. 

The journal also contains information on the International Seminar on Intellectual Property Rights and “Creatice Commons” Licenses, which was held on December 06, 2011.  The Seminar was attended by 45 representatives from Russia and CIS countries - Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine, as well as by representative of the headquarters of the non-commercial organization “Creative Commons” and regional manager of “Creative Commons” projects in Europe. 

 Besides in this issue you can also review the results of the
Vth International Conference “Earth from Cosmos – the Most Efficient Solutions”, which took place for the fifth time and gathered 470 people – representatives of 194 organizations from 22 countries of the world (including 56 participants from non-CIS countries).
