Points of the Forum discussion
were:

life in the situation of economic crisis

interaction with universities, companies and governments for training of new
type specialists and their recruitment. Trade unions.
The Forum was attended by
members of the European Economic and Social Committee, who work in the sphere
of development of Russia-EU relations, and representatives of West European
organizations. The European Economic and Social Committee - is a body of
the European Union, which was established in 1958. It is comprised of employers
(employers’ organization), employees (trade unions) and representatives
expressing interests of different groups. The Committee is located in Brussels, Belgium.
A welcoming speech to
participants of the Forum was delivered by rector of Moscow State University of
Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) Natalia Tikhomirova and Ambassador
and the Head of the EU’s delegation to Russia Fernando
Valenzuela.
At the Forum the reports were
made by Filip Hamro-Drotz, President of the Group on interaction
between EU and Russia of the European Economic and Social Committee (Brussels,
Belgum), senior councilor of the Confederation of Finnish Industries
(Finland), member of the group on interaction with employers; Diliana Slavova,
member of the Group on Russia-EU relations of the European Economic
and Social Committee (EECS), who is responsible for product policy and
agriculture, representative of Bulgaria; and Andjey Adamchik, member of the Group on interaction with employers of the European Economic
and Social Committee, who is responsible for work of trade unions,
representative of Poland.
On the Russian side a report
was made by Vladimir Tikhomirov, professor, Research Supervisor of the
Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, President of
International consortium “Electronic University”.
Within the framework of Section
3 «Use of modern ICTs for interaction with universities, companies and
governments for training of new type specialists and their recruitment. Trade unions»
a report was delivered by Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors. In
his speech Yuri Hohlov outlined problems of information society development in Russia,
insufficiency of resources provided for ICT development and achievement of goals
of the Strategy of Information Society Development in the Russian Federation and
refining Strategy of Social and Economic Development of Russian Federation
until 2020, barriers on the way of fruitful cooperation between science and
business with regard to implementation of scientific researches, necessity to
develop the human resources.
The event was attended by representatives of
academic and educational communities from Moscow and other cities of Russia. |
