On October 19-21, 2011 Moscow hosted the II Congress
of Non-commercial Organizations of Russia and the All-Russian Conference "GOSGRANT
2011". The event was attended by more than 600 representatives of the best
non-commercial organizations from 73 subjects of the Russian Federation.
Participants of the Conference discussed the following
topics:
- Social and economic strategy of Russia until 2020 in
the context of establishing institutes of civil society
- Role of non-commercial organizations in multiplying
the cultural inheritance of Russia
- Contemporary social policy and human potential of
Russia
- Participation of non-commercial organizations in
building the information society and many others.
On October 21, Moscow State University of Economics,
Statistics and Informatics (MESI) hosted round tables, seminars and workshops
for NCOs. "Microsoft" Corporation acted as principal partner of sections. Round tables, seminars and workshops were
divided by themes and were conducted in four streams.
"infoDonor" program was presented at the
section "Modern information technologies in work of non-commercial
organizations". Head of section – Inessa Grikurova (head of Microsoft strategic
programs) opened the work of section and reported on those programs and
projects, which are being developed by the Corporation in Russia for NCOs and
together with partner NCOs.
Anna Sienicka (director of Fundacija TechSoup) and
Svetlana Miroshnichenko (Fundacija TechSoup projects’ coordinator) reported on
implementation of the program at global scale, and on those possibilities and
internet-projects, which help to solve social problems in other countries. Manager
of the program in Russia Alexandra Kapustina reported on implementation of "infoDonor" program and rules of participation and answered questions from
participants of the section.
