On June 7-11, 2011 Khanty-Mansiysk hosted an International IT-Forum organized by the Department of Information Technologies of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous region – Yugra, in partnership with the Institute of the Information Society.

The Forum, which is being held for the fourth time, was attended more than 650 specialists on informatization from different regions of Russia and municipal districts of KMAR – Yugra. 

The event was opened by the X jubilee interregional conference "Information Technologies and solutions for Information Society Development in Russia".

Then the work of the conference was held in sections. Within the framework of the section "E-Government" Alexander Evtyushkin, Head of IIS Directorate of Perspective Projects, made a report on analysis of information inequality of Russian regions (on the basis of prepared by IIS "Index of Russian Regions E-Readiness").

All in all within the framework of the IT-Forum more than 15 events were held, including the jubilee exhibition “Information Technologies XXI", conference "Legal foundations of the Implementation of the Strategy of Information Society Development. Guarantee of rights and liberties of a human being in the Information Society", Ural stage of the Russian Internet-Forum "UIF – Yugra", "Day of Pure Internet" and "Day of Family".
