The second in 2011 Issue of the "Information Society" analytical journal was published.

Starting this year the journal is being published in new format and design. Besides this issue has its own specific:  the period of preparation of this issue falls at the international women’s day, therefore it was decided to make a “women’s” issue.

The issue begins with an exclusive interview of the Microsoft vice-president Pamela Passman, where she speaks on changes related to the role of information technologies in the development of society.

Articles represented in the journal examine such problems as global changes in the labour market under the influence of ICT, values of modern scientific paradigm, modernization of political elite associated with challenges of the new information reality, and many others.
