Bruno Lanvin gives an exclusive interview to the Information Society journal |
Tatiana Ershova, Editor-in-Chief of the Information Society Journal published by IIS in cooperation with the Russian Engineering Academy, interviewed Bruno Lanvin, Executive Director of eLab at INSEAD, during the World Economic Forum's Summit on the Global Agenda (Dubai, 29 November - 1 December 2010).
Bruno Lanvin is internationally well known also as the World Bank infoDev Program Manager and Executive Secretary of the G8 DOT Force - the very first global initiative aimed at information society development (in both capacities in 2001-2003).
In his interview he shared his views on the essence of the Information Society, explained how it changed his own life, told about his work within the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Future of Government, commented on the role of the Collective Reason for the modern society, made some indications on how Russia could maximize the benefit from the information society, and formulated a message to the journal's audience.
The interview will be published in Russian in the forthcoming issue of the Information Society journal (#6, 2010).
