Institute of the Information Society started to work on exploration of maintenance problems and drafting the Concept of modernization and development of computer based systems used by the Department of Social Protection of Moscow City Population (СS of the Dept. of SPMCP).

During the exploration the Institute will develop methodology and program of examination of the objects to be computerized by the Department of Social Protection of Moscow City Population with respect to current status of public services provision processes within the framework of distributed computer based information processing system "Soczashchita".

In the course of the exploration services provided by organizations of the Dept. of SP, documents required for obtainment of services and that are the results of services delivery, information systems and information objects, as well as all interrelations of services, documents, information systems and information objects, will be discovered.

Implementation of this project will result in drafting Concept of modernization and development of CS of the Dept. of SPMCP, preparation of Requirements Specifications for modernization and development of the System and Feasibility Study of the project.  

The Department of Social Protection of Moscow City Population is the state customer of this project.
