Institute of the Information Society prepared and published a collection of methodological materials "Information Society Development in the Russian Federation".

The collection includes materials related to activities aimed at implementation of main statements of the Strategy of information Society Development in the Russian Federation approve by the President of RF in February 2008. Documents related to creation and work of the Council for the Development of the Information Society under the President of the RF are also represented.

This publication contains an approved Plan of Implementation of the Strategy of information Society Development in the Russian Federation till 2011, and a number of methodological documents aimed at facilitation of development of regional and departmental programs and plans devoted to information society development.

The edition is designed for leaders and specialists of public authorities at federal and regional levels and experts involved in information society development process and creation of e-government in Russia.

The collection of materials intends to coincide with the VII Tver Social and Economic Forum "Information Society".
