The IIS library received a publication devoted to the 40 year history of the World Economic Forum
The
library of the Institute of the Information Society received a book "World Economic
Forum: Partner in History Development. First 40 Years".
This
jubilee publication represents year by year main landmarks of the existence of WEF
from 1971 to 2010. Mostly the Forum’s history is told by its leaders,
organizers and participants.
In
particular the book tells about the latest initiative of the World Economic Forum
on creation of councils on the global agenda
– communities comprised of lead experts cooperating in order to conduct
joint researches on most important problems of global significance.
Yuri
Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, is a member of the expert board "Future of the Government".
