On 24-25 April, 2009 the "E-Municipality" conference organized by Association of Siberian and Far-Eastern Cities (ASFEC) together with Administration of Krasnoyarsk took place.

The conference devoted to implementation of projects on providing ICT-based municipal services was held within the framework of the II Municipal Assembly "Krasnoyarsk. Technologies of the Future". The event was participated by representatives of informatization services of Siberian and Far East Municipalities, and representatives of companies working in the sphere of information technologies.

The program of the conference was opened by Vladimir Gorodetskiy, ASFEC President, Mayor of Novosibirsk, who addressed a welcoming speech to participants.

Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, made a report on "Implementation of the Strategy of Information Society Development in the Russian Federation", where he emphasized priority trends in informatization development within the framework of municipal, regional and federal authorities.

Within the framework of the conference a telebridge was held, which connected Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Khabarovsk.

Following the resultsm of the event the main conclusions were made and recommendations were worked out, which address all interested parties.
