On April 14, 2009 a meeting between Claus Roland, director of World Bank Representative in the Russian Federation, Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, Anna Korobova, Head of One Window Service and Informatization Department of Zelenograd Region Prefecture, and Mikhail Bunchuk, Consultant of the Global Department on Information Technologies of the World Bank, took place, and was devoted to discussion of Russian Experts’ participants in the work of the World Bank E-Development Thematic Group.
Parties noted positive results of spread of knowledge about ICT development in different spheres of life and especially in public management.
Creation of Russian segment of E-Development Thematic Group involving key partners of the World Bank in the proposed sphere – the Institute of the Information Society and Zelenograd Region Prefecture – were discussed.
Possible trends in further development of the World Bank E-Development Thematic Group in Russia were determined, especially in regards to main trends of the Strategy of Information Society Development in Russia and work of Council under President of RF on Information Society Development. |
