A “Microsoft: Day of Non-Commercial Organizations in St.-Petersburg” seminar will take place involving IIS

On April 23, 2009 a "Microsoft: Day of Non-Commercial Organizations in St.-Petersburg" seminar organized by Microsoft Company together with Center of Non-commercial Organizations Development, Institute of the Information Society and Professional-Rehabilitation Center under Committee on Social Policy of the St.-Petersburg Government will take place.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn which licensed Microsoft software is given out to non-commercial organizations (NCOs) nearly for free (for 4-8% of actual cost fee) and how to obtain it as donation, and how to get involved in Microsoft programs on increasing of computer literacy, how to obtain technological and information support, attract volunteers to their activities.

Besides, at the "Day of Non-Commercial Organizations in St.-Petersburg" one will be able to get acquainted with "infoDonor" program coordinated by the Institute of the Information Society. Products distributed within this program will help to make NCOs’ work more effective.

At the seminar there will also be presented solutions which have special modes for handicapped people.

Participation in the seminar is free.

"Day of  Non-Commercial Organizations in St.-Petersburg" will take place on April 23 at 11:30 a.m. in the Professional-Rehabilitation Center: St.-Petersburg, Vasilyevsky Island, 26th line, 9 (building and premises are completely equipped for handicapped people).
