The second in 2008 twofold issue of the research and analytical journal "Information Society" was published on 15 January 2009. The main topic of the issue is Internet Governance.

The materials of the journal address such key problems as critical resources of the internet, access, diversity, openness and security, and include socio-demographic analysis of the Russian internet audience.
