On 25 November 2008 St.-Petersburg Taurida Palace hosted the meeting of the Expert Board of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly – the Regional Commonwealth on Communications under the chairmanship of Leonid Reiman, Counsellor to the President of RF.

Alexander Kiselev, Deputy Chairman of the Expert Board and General Director of “Svyzinvest” OJSC; Mikhail Krotov, Secretary General of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly; Nurudin Mukhitdinov, General Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth on Communications,  and experts and developers of draft model legislative acts took part in the meeting.

Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, and Yuri Hramov, IIS expert, also participated in the meeting.

One of the constituents of the Expert Board work is implementation of monitoring of use of model legislative acts adopted by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. So, during the meeting the Expert Board reviewed eight issues, including draft model laws “On the Internet”, “On Passport and Visa Documents and Other Identification Documents of New Generation”, “On Electronic Public Services”, “On Telemedical Services”, draft model Information Codex for CIS. Recommendations to developers of these acts were given and decisions on these drafts were made.
