On 22-25 October the CrocusExpo exhibition complex will host the VIII International Exhibition-Forum "InfoCom-2008" conducted under support of the Ministry of Communications and Media of RF.

Leading companies working in ICT area, representatives of public authorities, business and scientific community will take part in the exhibition.

Within the framework of the InfoCom-2008 business program it is planned to hold forums, conferences, seminars, presentations and round tables.

The exhibition provides for consolidation of cross-industry ties, sharing experience and advanced technologies, expanding the clients’ database (including governmental customers), allows to thoroughly introduce companies’ products to potential customers.

Institute of the Information Society will demonstrate its latest projects and developments at the exhibition.

Besides, IIS publications issued this year will be represented:

• a book by Tatiana Ershova "We are the Information Society!", where the major concepts and theories, landmarks of establishment of information society policy and IIS history are introduced in a popular manner
• analytical report on “Analysis of ICT Development and Use in Subjects of RF”, which contains a comparative study of e-development factors in Russian regions and key spheres of ICT use
• a book by M. Kogalovsky and Yu. Hohlov  "XML Standards for E-Government".

The IIS booth #H8-2 will be opened in hall #3.
