On April 22, 2008 a meeting of the Association of Managers, independent public organization, took place in Moscow aiming at establishing integrated assistance in transition of the Russian business community to international standards and ethical principles of conduct, Russia's integration into the international economic space, conducting a constructive dialogue between government and business.

Association of Managers is the only professional organization in Russia of a national scale which unites managers of all levels and aims at forming and developing modern international standards of business management in Russian companies.

The main item of the agenda was Development of Information society in Russia and Program for E-Government Creation. The Committee Chairman, deputy general director of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines Sergey Kiryushin delivered a welcome speech before the participants of the meeting.

Reports at the meeting were made by Vladimir Drozhzhinov, Chairman of the Managing Board of the E-government Competence Center, Marat Guriev, IBM Government Relations Manager, Tatyana Skaldina, Chief of Expertise  on SAP Solutions in the Government Sector SAP CIS, Viktor Orlovsky, Senior Vice-President of Sberbank of RF, Yuru Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors.
