Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, made a report on "E-Health Protection in the E-Region: Standard Solutions for of E-Russia Federal Target Program". The main idea of the report was the ways of introduction of state policies in the sphere of regional informatization to specialists in medical informatics. Yuri Hohlov presented a standard program for ICT of development and use in a Russian region elaborated by IIS at request of Federal Agency on Information Technologies to the benefit of the Russian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications. The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications also initiated creation of standard ICT solution in the sphere of regional informatization within the realization of the Regional Informatization Conception till 2010.

18 pilot regions were selected in 2007 to develop and implement 7 standard ICT solutions in priority areas of socio-economic development. On March 24, 2008 Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of RF Leonid Reiman approved the list of standard ICT solutions in the sphere of regional informatization, including a standard solution for personified recording of medical aid at the regional level, which takes into consideration the personal data security requirements.

The report aroused great interest of representative of medical community and companies, which develop medical systems.
