On March 13, 2008 the Supreme Court hosted a seminar to which authors of the model law "On Internet" - Vladimir Gorzhaltsan, Deputy Director of Russian Association of Electronic Communications, Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, and Yuri Hramov, IIS Expert - were invited.

Supreme Court judges and specialists learned about the main problems of the Internet governance discussed at national and international levels. Authors commented upon key statements of the draft model law. Possibilities of application of traditional law enforcement practices related to the use of information available through the Internet were also discussed at the seminar.
