On March 7 IIS opened the second exhibition of artist Svetlana Maximovna Kolesnik.

Svetlana Kolesnik is a member of the Union of Russian Artists, hereditary artist. She was born in Podolsk town. Her father, Maxim Efimkin, is a famouspainter; he was one of the founders of Podolsk art workshop, initiated foundation of a child art school and the Moscow regions's largest exhibition hall in Podolsk.

At present Svetlana Kolesnik's works are held in private collections in Russia, Austria and USA.

This exhibition presents 26 pictorial works: 23 landscapes and 3 still-life paintings. Svetlana Kolesnik is good at subtle reproducing of soft beauty of the middle-Russian nature. We can feel how the soul of an artist in love with native nature becomes apparent in creative work and transmits to us, spectators, the whole power of its emotions. We are grateful for this.
