President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin approved the Information Society Development Strategy in Russia, which was elaborated with the assistance of the IIS

By his order dated 7 February 2008 President of the RF approved the Information Society Development Strategy in Russia.

We would like to remind our partners that the Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors Yuri Hohlov and the Head of Directorate on Information Society Development Monitoring Sergey Shaposhnik took part in the activities of the working group on preparing the draft Information Society Development Strategy in Russia.

The official text of the Strategy is published in the 4591 issue of "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" dated February 16, 2008.
