Strategy for Information Society Development in Russia
IIS representative took part in the work of the Collegium of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of RF

On February 12, 2008 meetings of sections "ElectroConnection", "Informatization" and "Mail Connection" took place within the framework of the Collegium.

Representatives of enterprises and organizations dependent on the Ministry of Information Technologies anв Communications of RF, representatives of ministries and departments, representatives of companies became participants of the section "Informatization".

Activities of the Ministry of Information Technologies anв Communications of RF in the sphere of informatization on the basis of 2007 and goals for future were examined on two key fronts in the work of two sections.

Participants of the 1st section examined main trends in the activity of Ministry of Information Technologies anв Communications of RF in development of information technologies. Deputy Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Dmitri Milovantsev made an opening speech in front of participants.

Participants of the 2nd section discussed the way of realization of key projects in the area of implementation of information technologies in the state administration. The Head of the Federal Agency on Information Technologies Vladimir Matyukhin, who presented a report on "The course of work on creation of the State Information Center for Ensuring interdepartmental exchange and access to the data of state information systems in order to provide for granting state services in e-view", made an opening speech.

Y. Hohlov, Chairman of the IIS Board of Directors, took part in the work of the section on "Informatization".
