The conference was held on 16 October 2007 in the Extropolis conference center in Moscow. ROCIT and MediaSoyuz acted as organizers of the event. Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications gave support to the conference.

During the conference 9 sections and round tables were conducted, among them Problems of State Regulation of Internet Mass Media, Legal Matters, Censorship and Self-Censorship in RuNet. Sections involved the following trends: "How to Attract the Relevant Audience", "Web 2.0", "Personnel", "Media Convergence", "Monetization of the Content", "Technologies for Mass Media".

Altogether around 50 reports and presentations were offered to over 300 participants of the conference.

Participants and speakers of the conference were representatives of Russian Internet content providers, leading mass media companies, ICT companies, advertising agencies, public organizations, research and educational community.

Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of IIS Board of Directors, took part in the round table on Legal Matters.
