On 5 July 2007 IIS office hosted the meeting of specialists from Korea and Russia in the sphere of e-government.

During the meeting parties exchanged opinions on e-government development status in the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation. Chief of Executive Office of the Asian-Pacific Advisory Board on E-Government Daniel Kim and professor Byong hyun-Kim, the Republic of Korea Ministry of Science and Technology, Planning and Political Measures Committee Member, presented a picture of e-government development in the Republic of Korea.

Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of IIS Board of Directors, briefed his Korean colleagues on carrying out federal target program “E-Russia”, city target program “E-Moscow” a number of regional programs, which include e-government component.

Parties discussed the perspectives of possible cooperation.
