Strategy for Information Society Development in Russia
IIS representative participated in the round table on the Moscow City Development Strategy till 2025

On April 13, 2007 Moscow City Hall hosted a round table on “Main Trends in the Strategy of Moscow’s Development till 2025”.

Reports by Yuri Roslyak, the First Deputy Mayor of Moscow and the Head of the Complex of Economic Policy and City Development, and Marina Ogloblina, the Head of Department on Economic Policy and Moscow City Development, were presented during the meeting. Besides, reports were made by leading specialists and experts from the Moscow Government, research institutes, major institutes of higher education and public service organizations.

Participants’ speeches emphasized that the scale of social and economic development problems solved within the city determine the necessity of forming the strategy of Moscow City development for long-term period - till 2025.

The creation and use of the technology of strategic planning and management will allow to determine long-term priorities, goals and objectives, which would guarantee high steady rates of Moscow economic development, i.e. to reach the main goal of the Moscow City Development Strategy - consecutive rise of Muscovites’ quality of living based on social and economic development of the city.
