On March 12, 2007 the evaluation panel of the regional contest aimed at selection of best technical solutions in the sphere of regional informatization within the framework of the E-Russia program had its final meeting in the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of RF.

All in all 101 applications for the contest were submitted from 48 regions of Russia. All applications underwent an independent examination by the Expert Board at the Council on Regional Informatization at the Russian IT and Communications.

The following IIS representatives took active part in the examination of applications  at the Expert Board:

• Yuri Hohlov - Chairman of IIS Board of Directors, Head of Directorate of Regional Programs
• Tatiana Ershova - General Director and Head of PRIOR Directorate
• Alexander Yevtiushkin - Head of Directorate of Innovative and Investment Projects and          Directorate of Educational Programs
• Sergei Shaposhnik - Head of Directorate on Information Society Development Monitoring
•  Dmitry Chereshkin - Director of Information Policy Programs
