As a result of the open competition that ended in November 2006, Institute of the Information Society carried out development of interdepartmental automated information system for the Moscow Department of Education communication with territorial authorities on child record.

By late 2006 IIS in cooperation with the CROC company, which acted as co-executor under this project, carried out:

• gap-analysis
• system requirements development
• research on interfaces to current information systems
• development of the Statement of work on system and project documentation development
• development of project solutions for the Moscow Department of Education communication with territorial authorities on child record
• drafting work documentation on the system and its modules
• testing, debugging and complexing the system, software installation and setup at users’ workstations.

In late January 2007 the system will be launched into trial operation, followed by the stage of reviewing users comments and system fixing.

By late March 2007 the system is scheduled to go-live.
