Strategy for Information Society Development in Russia
Institute opens a series of art exhibitions
On 18 January 2007 IIS office held an opening ceremony of exhibition of a Moscow region painter Svetlana Kolesnik.
 
Svetlana Kolesnik is a member of the Union of Russian Artists, hereditary artist. She was born in Podolsk town. Her father, Maxim Efimkin, is a famous painter; he was one of the founders of Podolsk art workshop, initiated foundation of a child art school and the Moscow regions's largest exhibition hall in Podolsk.
 
At present Svetlana Kolesnik's works are held in private collections in Russia, Austria and USA.
 
At her personal exhibition S. Kolesnik presented about 40 works of the past 20 years: portraits, landscapes, still-life painting, and watercolor compositions.
 
The exhibition was opened by Victor Stroganov, Deputy General Director (Executive Director) of the Institute of the Information Society.
 
The opening ceremony was attended by: Valentina Spiryanova, art critic, honoured worker of culture of RF; Irina Romankevich, director of memorial museum-preserve “Podolje”; and Alexey Bugrim, Director of Podolsk Union of Artists CJSC.
