On 15 November 2006 Kaliningrad held a regular public discussion of the draft Strategy of the Information Society Development in the Russian Federation.

The event was organized by the office of plenipotentiary representative of the President of RF in North-Western federal district, Security Council of the RF, and Government of Kaliningrad region.

The participants of the public vote were welcomed by A. Datsyshin, deputy plenipotentiary representative of the President of RF in North-Western federal district and V. Shalimov, Vice Prime-Minister of Kaliningrad region.
