Strategy for Information Society Development in Russia
IIS won the open competition on development of e-government architecture in Republic of Tatarstan

Open competition for the development of e-government architecture and a set of technical standards in the sphere of ICT implementation in governmental administration of Republic of Tatarstan was announced on 24 August 2006. Governmental institution “IT Centre of Republic of Tatarstan" acted as governmental contractor for the works.

The above mentioned works aim at:

  • Developing e-government architecture in Republic of Tatarstan
  • Selecting (on the basis of e-government architecture of Republic of Tatastan) an optimum set of technical standards in the sphere of ICT implementation in public and locla authorities of Republic of Tatarstan
  • Development and launch in operation testing of the information system for supporting e-government architecture of Republic of Tatarstan.

The anticipated results of the project are:

  • Project of e-government architecture of Republic of Tatarstan
  • Set of technical standards in the sphere of ICT implementation in governmental administration of Republic of Tatarstan with requirements to regional technical standards; and a set of regional technical standards in the sphere of ICT implementation in governmental administration
  • First release of information system for supporting e-government architecture of Republic of Tatarstan launched the IS in operation testing.

The competition jury announced Institute of the Information Society (Moscow) in cooperation with Chebotarev Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics under Kazan State University (Kazan) the executors of the project.
