On 15 August 2006 Voronezh town held a regional conference "Open Informaiton Systems of Governmental Authorities as the Basis for Social Reforming and Competent Regional Adminitration".

The conference was opened by the Governor of Voronezh region V. Kulakov. The conference was also attended by S. Naumov, First Deputy of the Governor of Voronezh Region; I. Dubovsky, V. Kleimenov and L. Selitrennikov, Deputy Governors of the region; as well as I. Shepelevich, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Governor of Voronezh Region.

Among other participants there were representatives of public and local authorities, business, civil society and research and education community.
