IIS representative participated in the round table "Principles of Information Regulation in Russia" |
On 2 August 2006 the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the RF held a round table "Principles of Information Regulation in Russia", organized by the Department of Corporate Management of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the RF.
During the event the participants discussed several principles of information regulation in Russia:
- Principle of presumption of information publicity: there should be a full list of closed or limited information, all other information is public;
- Principle of assigning legal status for each type of information: there should not be information with unspecified legal status;
- Principle of impossibility to withdraw information: once published, information cannot be withdrawn.
