On 6 March 2006 Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation signed working agreement with Institute of the Information Society.

The working agreement is aimed at mutual assistance in the research area, joining efforts on developing courses for professional training, retraining and improving qualification of specialists from public and local authorities, as well as commercial and non-commercial organizations in the sphere of the Information Society and e-Leadership development.

To reach the above aims both organizations decided to integrate their technical and methodological resources and develop special training courses, scientific-methodological materials and education programs, collectively hold seminars and conferences, and participate in international, national and interregional events.
