IIS representative participated in the round table held within the framework of Interdepartmental interdisciplinary seminar on scientific problems of information security |
On 2 March 2006 Lomonosov's Moscow State University (MSU) held regular interdepartmental interdisciplinary seminar on scientific problems of information security. The fourth yearly seminar was headed by Viktor Sadovnichy, MSU rector, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Vladislav Sherstiuk, First Deputy Secretary of the RF Security Council, Head of Department of Information Security of MSU FAE, corresponding member of the Academy of Cryptography of the RF; and Vladimir Sachkov, Vice-president of the Academy of Cryptography of the RF.
The seminar included round table Strategy of the Information Society Development in Russia. Yuri Hohlov, Chairman of IIS Board, actively participated in the round table. The participants of the round table were presented the project of the Strategy of the Information Society Development in Russia representing the level of the Information Society development at present time, main aims and principles of the Information Society development in Russia, and the role of government in this process. The document describes stages of the strategy implementation and proposes events on achieving aims of the Information Society development in Russia. |
