Infor-media Russia company and Izvestia newspaper organized international conference Modern E-Government Technologies. The conference was held on 2-3 March 2006 in Moscow, in Holiday Inn Moscow Lesnaya hotel.

The conference gave specialists possibility to receive information on the experience of implementing IT strategies in Russian and foreign organizations, on solutions to the problems of IT management and implementing IT projects, on the ways to develop e-government, as well as on modern IT architectures, technologies of web-services and standards, on efficient IT solutions for governmental sector (including FTP eRussia) and business. The conference program includes presentations, seminars/master classes of the leading foreign and Russian specialists, open discussions of the most urgent issues.

On 3 March 2006 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the conference held the meeting E-Government in Regions and Municipalities. The meeting was chaired by Alexander Yevtiushkin, Head of IIS Directorate of Innovative and Investment Projects.
