The book contains description of the methodology of Index composition, represents main results of Russian regions and federal districts e-readiness, and covers profiles of all regions excluding Chechen Republic.
This analytical work is intended for assessing the level of Russian regions' readiness for large-scale ICT implementation. The Index is based on the evaluation of the Information Society development factors and assessment of ICT application for development of the main spheres of social activity, as well as ICT use by citizens and households.
The book is prefaced by Leonid Reiman, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation. The book is intended for experts and CEOs working in the sphere of shaping the strategy and policy of the Information Society development and the sphere of creating and using ICT in different areas of human activity - public administration, business, education, healthcare, culture and others.
